Alphabet ball is fun outdoor game you can play with your pre-K and kindergarten students! In the video, I share some ways to make this game more appropriate for 1st and 2nd graders as well. All you need is some students and a ball to play.

Watch the video to see how to play 🙂

If you happen to use any of these games in your classroom, leave a comment below and let me know how they go! 🙂 Also, if you share any of the games from Susan’s Sunday Spotlight, please tag me on instagram @susanjonesteaching so I can see!! You can also use the hashtag: #susanssundayspotlight

  1. New subscriber here!!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas! I think I’ll play this game with my boys today.

  2. You are so creative!!! Thanks for taking the time to share all of your fun classroom learning games! I APPRECIATE YOU! 🙂

  3. Great idea! I used it during SELand we used synonyms for emotional words! Thanks so much!

  4. Great Idea! You can also do this for vocabulary development both general and content area related – Person in the middle says a topic (animals, food, clothing, weather, living things, etc) and the students say a word that matches that topic.

  5. It’s a good idea, however it’s not very encouraging for children with learning issues.
